SMART SINNER (smartsinner.org) is an initiative challenging people to acknowledge that as nobody is perfect it is wise to accept and follow the best model of perfection that exists (namely Jesus Christ found in Christianity who died to forgive our sins and rose again to prompt us away from sin).

Why is Christianity so important to RESPECT in western nations?

Christianity has played a massive role in the development of western civilisation in western nations by inspiring it's followers to strive to do better (confronting sin and exercising love). Christianity has also allowed great tolerance of non Christians by introducing the Christian constructed separation of church and state. Such separation of faith and state is not accepted by all faiths and all cultures so will be increasingly threatened if Christianity no longer has special status within multicultural western nations. 

Why is Christianity so important to UPHOLD in western nations?

To prevent increasing threats to western civilisation in western nations it is critical that Christianity continues to be given special status in order to ensure the ongoing separation of faith and state. What is absolutely unacceptable is for non Christian faiths and cultures being allowed in western nations to opt out of separation of faith and state (as this divides us rather than unites us). Increasingly this is becoming an issue in western nations with growing non Christian multicultural populations.

We all tend to forget that civilisation can move backwards (decline) as well as move forwards. SMART SINNER considers that if western civilisation in western nations is to continue moving forwards (rather than backwards) it is critical that western nations continue to respect and uphold Christianity and the way it has enshrined tolerance through the separation of faith and state.
